Here is a new image I am working on. It's a one plate etching printed in silver on black paper. I'm thinking of adding another plate to model and alter the tones on this one... 30 x 24cm

Final six prints for the Looking for Nothing box. The prints were housed in a custom built box which looked great. But two things: my original idea for the images and text was to be a book and that is something I want to develop; and the use of computer generated text on paper which was chine colléd onto the prints didn't work that well... back to the drawing board.

Beached
I've just finished the first of (hopefully) six prints to go towards making a box set for a bookfair in Bristol. The theme of the set will be a common interest of mine — masculinity and gayness. It is a new departure for me to collide text and image together.

Golden Boy
Hello, my name is Steve Edwards and I am an artist printmaker and also a member of East London Printmakers. ELP are a collective of artists who share and run a studio in Hackney in east London. Golden Boy is an example of my current work. It is a multi-plate linocut I made in response to a fairy tale called Iron John. It is one of three different pieces based on that tale, which form part of ELP's Wonderland show, currently on tour in Germany. 40.5 x 31.5cm
